Sports luxe isn’t something i’ve ever been good at, or inclined to try to be good at. I think my shape & instinctive style is too feminine to pull it off, however there’s one trend which edges towards sports luxe which I have been drawn too, and one that i’m keen to give a go. Whether it be the Celine plaid slip ons which every high end blogger seems to have or a high street leather equivalent which us mere mortals have been sporting, these style of slip on trainers seem to be popular with everyone and totally versatile for styling. Like I said, sports luxe isn’t my ‘thang’ but these shoes definitely are. When I spotted Daniel Footwear had released a reptile version I instantly fell in love. The black and white colour teamed with the reptile texture was a winning combination for me and styled with a skinny pair of leather trousers & an oversized knit i’ll be in ‘slip on’ heaven. Channeling the sports luxe vibe in my own subtle way.
