SPRING WHITE

. CLASSIC SATIN TROUSERS .

So I mentioned in my post last week that I’ve finally embraced cigarette trousers after finding the perfect pair for me in Topshop prior to my holiday. The relief of finding a beautiful pair that fitted well was unnecessarily pleasing, and it’s actually spurred me on to increase my collection and keep hunting for more pairs. I’ve seen a few colourful versions in Zara which I think i’ll be adding to my birthday list (April 18th incase you’re interested).
I made the most of the spring sunshine and debuted my new trousers immediately, styled with my new Topshop reptile leather front knit jumper, which I also featured in yesterday’s outfit;. The double white outfit was utterly dreamy and not something I’ve attempted before, I think I subconsciously took inspiration from my mum who sported an uncannily similar look when she was my age check it out here). Double white seems to be a hot new spring trend, I’ve seen many a blogger rocking it in some form or another, I personally think the satin trousers create quite a unique twist on the look.
I finished the white on white look with some harsh black accessories, nothing like adding a bit of contrast! My Marks & Spencers pinstripe coat and Zara patent moccasins actually went perfectly transforming an otherwise standout look into something a little more understated (even if I do say so myself) rather sophisticated.
This has to be one of my favourite outfit’s in a while!
