. FRENCH CONNECTION SWEETIE MIX DRESS.

I’ve not only been spending my hard earned salary on Jimmy Choo’s, i’ve also been investing in beautiful summer dresses too. Albeit a fab sales bargain timed to perfection. This French Connection Sweetie Mix Dress has been on my wish list for a long time, after popping into the Covent Garden store after work on Monday I fell even more in love with the dress and by Thursday decided I should definitely invest. Fortunately, unbeknown to me, Thursday was the first day of the sale, taking this beauty down to almost half price.

I have a couple of summer weddings coming up and of course the classic work summer party and so i’ve been hunting for the perfect dress for a while. When it comes to event wear I always something a little more special than the typical dress which is why i love French Connections dresses. Every dress i buy lasts me forever and is always a statement piece (Laura Whitmore even asked where one of  my French Connection dresses was from at a party last year). This Sweetie dress is one of those, a statement, but such good quality that it’s an absolute keeper.

I think i’ll be teaming this dress with my new Jimmy Choo’s and a plain clutch for the wedding … the back is so detailed that I think an up do will show this off to it’s fullest. I can’t wait.
