. ZARA AW14 FUR GILET .
As I mentioned in yesterday’s bank holiday photo diary, I used the 5 days I was away in France to capture a few outfit pictures, which my sister dutifully (and very patiently) took for me whilst we were out exploring. I thought today I’d share my first outfit, which is the outfit I travelled in Thursday morning. I clearly dressed for English weather and hadn’t anticipated the sunshine & beautiful blue skies.

This Fur gilet is one of my most recent purchases from Zara. I’ve been on a bit of a Zara and French Connection shopping spree this last couple of weeks, I’m loving absolutely everything in their Autumn collections and couldn’t help but treat myself to a few bits. My Zara gilet arrived on Wednesday, just in time for me to wear it on holiday fortunately, and that I did. I probably wore this gilet every day in the end and it’s already become a bit of a staple. Cosy and warm, but chic & autumn perfect too.
I teamed the gilet with my Whistles skinny jeans, a new French Connection Jumper which I actually picked up in the sale for an absolute bargain £16 (reduced from £69) and my trust Birkenstocks. I thought I’d add a bit of glam to my look with my fedora, this is another item I wore everyday whilst I was away. The backdrop for these photos was Dinards beautiful beach, luckily the sea and sky were sparkly blue making for a great image.
