THE CLASSIC TRENCH

. ZARA AW14 TRENCH .

Another outfit from my trip to France (nearly the last I promise) and yet another outfit featuring a new Autumn purchase. This time my Zara trench coat. The love of my life and bizarrely my first ever trench coat, hard to believe I know. I’ve been sporting this a lot lately as it’s the perfect sort of jacket to see you through summer into Autumn, light but an extra layer to keep the chills at bay.

The thing about the trench is that it’s an outfit in it’s own right, i mean i’m obviously wearing clothes under this coat, but it almost doesn’t matter. The trench itself does all the talking, everything else is a nice add on. My sister snapped quite a lot of pics of this outfit as we spent the day walking around the village & exploring all the pretty roads, i’m useless at cutting them down and picking the best 5 so I thought i’d just share them all. Overload i’m sure :)

Tonight i’m off to Bristol for the weekend for a weekend spent wining and dining with my family, Saturday Jase and I are spending the day with Liza which i’m so excited for, lunch at Harvey Nichols followed by a potter around the shops, and Sunday i’ll be in Bath enjoying afternoon tea with my mumma for her 50th birthday at the Royal Bath Hotel. Very exciting. It’s also been a super busy week at work so we’re all leaving early today to enjoy a cheeky lunch in Covent Garden at Sticks N Sushi (bloody love it there). And after a rather red wine & champagne fuelled dinner at Roka last night, it’s exactly what I need.
