. MONOCHROME AND LEOPARD .

Do you ever have one of those moments when you throw on a new outfit combination and wonder why you’d never thought about it previously? This look was one of those. A day of meetings ahead of me I wanted a comfortable outfit but also something that looked professional and still chic. I wasn’t in the mood for killer pencil skirts & pumps so opted for something a little more laid back in my Sugarhill Boutique Sienna shorts & Topshop oversized shorts. I’d not teamed the two together before but loved the slightly androgynous look it created! I finished the outfit off with my French Connection sleeveless jacket which looks as though maybe it was made for this look? And finished things off with my pony hair Office booties which have become my favourite smart ankle boot (and everyone elses I think given the compliments they generate)!

I’m all for a top to toe monochrome look but it wouldn’t be me if I didn’t have a pop of colour somewhere. My Boden leopard print clutch was the perfect addition to the look and gave it a little bit of a pop!

Aside from reinvigorating old items into new looks, i’ve also got a few brand new pieces coming soon on my blog. After my wild little online spree last week, my sister and I spent the weekend strolling the streets of chelsea and snapping my looks as we went. I’ve definitely got a few new favourite looks for Autumn from my new pieces!
