. BODEN LEDBURY PEA COAT .

The weather has definitely taken a turn for the worse here in London, rain showers, blustery winds & it’s certainly got a little bit nippy. Despite the fact i’m off to sunnier climates next week (Dubai here I come) i’m taking the opportunity to get my winter wardrobe up to scratch & using the drop in heat to showcase some fab new winter warmers, including this little Boden number!

 

As much as I love the summer (I mean really, who doesn’t) there is just something charming and warming (ironically) about the winter months. Whether it’s the crisp winter air, the snuggly gloves and hats we wrap ourselves in, the excuse for a cosy fire & mug of tea or just the general mood for Christmas (probably the latter) … but there’s just something about winter that steals my heart each year. I love it!

My favourite time has to be Christmas, the hustle and bustle and of course the romance of Christmas markets, ice skating, mulled wine & dark nights, the excuse to shop (any excuse) and just the general joy that fills the air! Whilst I know it’s not Christmas time yet … these wintery days are starting to give me that lovely feeling! Excitement and anticipation of whats to come!

I’m embracing it, and before I revert back to bikini’s & summer dresses in Dubai and Abu Dhabi next week, i’m wrapping up like a winter bear in a new cosy number from Boden … queen of chic winter coats! This navy pea coat is a little number from Boden’s winter collection. I instantly loved the navy and orange details, the high collar and thick cuffs and think it’s perfect for these winter months (i’ve fallen in love with a few of their coats this season)! It’s not only stolen my heart, my mum and sister are keen to get their mitts on it too!
