After heading over to the French Connection F shop last night to check out the incredible AW14 collection i’m now well and truly in the mood for glitz and glamour! Their party selection is always my go to every year when i’m looking for that ‘special dress’. Seeing as they’ve got me in the festive spirit & eager to dress up to the nines, I thought today would be the perfect opportunity to share a slightly more dressy look today on my blog. Not quite sequin party dress, but still a rather glamorous number!

I’m always a huge jumpsuit fan, my sister pulls them off like a professional, I can’t say i’ve quite mastered the look yet, but this Missguided navy number is giving me my first proper taste at the tailored jumpsuit. I styled the look with my killer patent pumps to give it a slightly more evening feel and threw over this fabulous little furry treat from Warehouse (another item from Debenhams which i’ll be sharing more about tomorrow). This kinda look is the perfect outfit for festive cocktails with your girlfriends or a cosy little date night with the boy.

Aside from the dressy styling, i’m desperate to give this a more androgynous vibe too, patent loafers, wide brimmed fedora, and oversized wool coat. Stay tuned …
