. REISS SHORTS & TOPSHOP SHIRT .

Dressing in the heat of the middle east requires two things, light weight & light colours. Anything to keep you cool in the wonderful all year round sunshine. Having psyched myself for my Autumn wardrobe back in the UK before my trip, it’s taking a little adjusting to switch my new cosy cable knits for light weight shirts & skinny jeans and ankle boots for chic shorts & open toe heels. The great thing of course is that my summer purchases get a little more wear!

For an evening spent in the hotel grounds, sipping apple mojito’s and eating delicious thai food, I opted for a rather laid back look. Shorts & a shirt. Specifically my Navarre shorts which I picked up from Reiss earlier this year. These are a go to item when i’m looking for a smart but easy evening look. Teamed with my oversized Topshop shirt & office sling backs, it was the ideal look for a warm late summer evening sat on the pool terrace.

I’m now blogging from mediamarmalade HQ V III …. The Park Hyatt Dubai. An absolutely stunning hotel & a little sanctuary hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the main city. I’ve already spotted a couple of beautiful spots for a few more outfits, so hopefully i’ll get a chance to shoot and share those looks with you in the next couple of days!
