. COS LEATHER DETAIL SKIRT .

Oh look, another COS purchase. Well slap me on the wrist and cut up my bank card, i’ve only gone and done it again. I can’t help myself, every time I go in the store I find something i absolutely LOVE, and whilst this skirt was actually one of my original purchases whilst in Copenhagen, this weekend I also bought another little number which I can’t wait to share on here too.

I bought this skirt with work in mind, whilst I absolutely don’t have a work and weekend wardrobe, I have started to up my work wear outfits looking to dress a little more smartly and going for a more ‘basic’ colour scheme and more tailored cut (sorry skinny jeans & cosy knits)! This skirt immediately caught my eye with it’s simple design, and work appropriate length combined with the little touch of leather across the waist band which ensured it was still ‘up my street’.

Before I went away on holiday I teamed the skirt with a simple white shirt (this one is my French Connection oversized white shirt) and a pair of chunky ankle boots for a simple black & white look (hooray I actually managed it for once). I couldn’t resist giving the outfit a bit of an edgy touch though so opted for these open back heels opposed to a more sleek pump or loafer.
