I’ve always been open to new trends, of course I have my limits (i’m not sure I could ever embrace flares again) but generally speaking if a new trend comes along that I genuinely like (i’m not someone that just jumps on a bandwagon for no reason), i’ll embrace it and give it a whirl. Culottes are one of those seasonal trends which really captured my attention and a style which i’ve already started to test out in my daily outfits.

Within my mini Zara haul a few weeks back, I also picked up these mega cool culottes which were an absolute bargain at £29.99 (quite a low commitment which is always good when you’re trying something new). The navy colour palette, and hugely oversized legs really grabbed my attention and I thought they looked perfect styled with my lace suede heels which I also treated myself too. Given the culottes are such a statement garment, i’ve kept the rest of the ensemble simple, with a plain tee & of course a little fedora which added a chic little touch to the look!

Whilst these are my first pair of culottes, they definitely won’t be my last!
