One thing’s for certain, since Ruby entered my life I’ve been utterly head over heels in love, I genuinely feel like i’m her doggy mum and love her so much. She’s certainly be making me want to go home even more than normal, and I love the over excited reaction when she see’s it’s me at the door, she gets so excited and won’t stop kissing for a good 10 minutes. When I go home she doesn’t leave my side, and so it was only right that she joined my outfit pictures last weekend (showing off her little red jacket, snazzy)! She’s grown so much already, even though she’s still only 16 weeks old, it’s so nice having her documented on my blog and seeing how she grows (look how small and cute she was here when we first got Ruby & even a few months ago when we took her outside for the very first time – here).

Ruby and I both sported our favourite spring jackets (me, a little french connection trench coat, Ruby, her favourite red shearling lined jacket) for a quick trip into Winchester the other weekend when I was back home for my Birthday. Now she’s allowed outside she loves a run around and a little (a LOT of) exploring, so she is the perfect companion for my weekend shopping trips & cafe stops. My sister Lily took these pictures of us whilst we were popping into town for my birthday lunch a few weeks back. Ruby was most definitely enjoying the attention, check out her cute little poses here, but the photo shoot exhausted her and she fell fast asleep on my lap once we stopped for lunch!

If only I was to make my blog my full time career, i’d have a little puppy up here in London immediately. They’re just the best little bundles of joy ever!

Ps: As for my outfit, I kept things low key for my pre birthday lunch, mom jeans, converse & a classic breton tee. The perfect laid back spring ensemble in my opinion!
