British summer may flip 180 day by day, but even on days where the sun hides away, humidity is still there to make you sweat, and so opting for a few classic summer wardrobe staples is always a good move in July. My wardrobe staples are just what they say on the tin, staples … we’re talking vintage levis, the classic breton & of course the ugliest shoe of all, the birkenstock. It’s a classic summer combination and an easy win for British summer.

 When I get a lazy day, you know, the sort of days where wondering the streets, grabbing an ice coffee and embarking on an impromptu 3pm brunch, this is always my go to attire. Theres nothing more comfy, effortless but innately british about the look … the only thing you need to finish the look off is the Cornish seaside, some fish n chips & a local cider to boot. Right?
