LAST OF THE SUMMER SHIRT DRESS

After finding myself in a shopping drought for the last month or so, this last week or two has seen a dramatic turn in events. Not only have I fallen in love with some serious new season gems on the high street, I’ve also nearly bought myself a whole new wardrobe. It started off slowly with a few new purchases from Zara (this shirt dress being one of my finds) & COS, and crescendoed with some serious online shopping Saturday night (I picked up this, this & this) & a duty free blow out at the airport yesterday (you may have spotted some of my shopping on my instagram). It was a £600 shopping spree where I lost total and utter control, but got some fab make-up from Bare Minerals & Bobbi Brown and some gorgeous AW15 pieces from Reiss’s new collection, including these suede Marley boots & this gorgeous sleeveless fur jacket. For me there’s nothing like a little (a lotta) retail therapy to relax me & put me in a good mood (my bank account less so).

I can’t wait to showcase all my new purchases on my blog, but before my Autumn Winter wardrobe really hits, I’m making the most of my slightly more summery garments like this oversized shirt dress. Teaming it with my favourite (and ugliest) summer sandal, the birk. And layering up with my favourite Reiss leather to fight the slight chill that’s hitting the UK.
