Knitwear has become a huge part of my wardrobe this winter, and more than anything the knitted jumper dress. Long gone are the days where cropped knit jumpers were my sartorial style of choice, these days I like my knitwear extra long and extra large. And this knitted dress from H&M delivers on both. And has a cheeky turtle neck for bonus points. I lived in this knit jumper pretty much all weekend, it’s the cosiest thing in my wardrobe & given that London got snow (ahem) yesterday, it’s been all about cosy winter wear for me. I promised myself to transition my wardrobe into a slightly less oversized place in 2016, but this knitwear was too hard to refuse.

For me the jumper dress is such an easy item to style, that’s part of the reason i’m such a fan. For me it’s best served well lived in, teamed with a pair of thick black tights or skinny jeans and either a chic knee high boot or a classic leather loafer. The key is to keep it simple.
