THE CARDIGAN
This Seasons Take On Knitwear & How To Style It
There’s two things I’ve never really embraced or particularly liked much in the past, that’s a V neck, and a cardigan.
The former has never really been something, as a rather large bosomed woman, that i’ve thought looked flattering on me or anyone else with big boobs for that matter. It was a cut I always felt looked best on androgynous figures, anything but a cleavage really (personal preference perhaps), and so it’s something i’ve always avoided in my style, preferring turtle neck or round neck tops, jumpers & dresses.
Secondly cardigans, and more specifically mid length cardigans. In the past these have been items i’ve reserved for librarians (no offence, but you know the look I mean. Sorry!) and generally that typical stereotype of an unstylish mum. It’s hard to articulate, but I just never really felt they were modern or stylish. Least not a mid length, a midi cardigan is the ultimate home comfort, but something sat on your hips needs to be carefully styled & put together.
Anyway, this was all up until the moment I saw this seasons take on the cardigan, which happened to include my two most hated things in one, yet seemed to instantly change my mind and cause me to order a whole load for my wardrobe. I say a whole load, but really it was this and this one featured in todays post …

For some reason this seasons take on the knitted cardigan has me head over heels, a thick knit (versus an old fashioned thin cotton style), bold colours (I love this burgundy one and the red version I’ve ordered and linked above), and super low neck V. So low, that it somehow passes the V neck test. I tried teaming the cardi with a tee but it is absolutely made for wearing with nothing underneath other than a very simple bra (the more basic the better, no padding and ideally not too much structure to ensure the cardigan sits right) and your best stacked necklaces. I love the look so much i’ve been teaming my new cardigan with straight leg jeans for a casual look, and with my cropped chinos for a slightly more dapper work look. The colour is perfect for Autumn too.

I love the idea of the cardigan as a top, the styling suits you and the colour is lovely.
But you do need to proof read before you post. Grammar mistakes such as your/you’re and the phrase is head over heels, not hills.
