So I mentioned over the weekend about a couple of new wardrobe goodies I’ve recently got from an online store called Hush. I featured my new blazer in my beach outfit post which you can see here, and promised a second installment with my other new item. Well here you go, round 2. This dress is called the Michelle dress and is part of Hush’s summer lounge wear collection. It’s the softest silk material and is perfect for summer chilling.

I love summer clothes but it’s always tricky getting the balance right at work, keeping the professional look whilst dressing summery and not like its -5 degrees. This dress to me is the perfect summer work dress. It’s long enough in length to not flash any butt but it’s short enough to not look like your from a convent. The colour is such a gorgeous deep Navy and it’s a really high quality silk. It looks ace with killer heels and I’d probably team with my white blazer for the ultimate work outfit. 

Probably my favourite thing about it is that slip on a pair of sandals and put your hair in a top knot and it also would be the perfect chilled out summer attire. It’d look awesome for beach strolling and cocktail evenings on holiday too (just need to get me a holiday). I’ve been really impressed with Hush, they have such a fab collection of quality clothes, both of my new items are so nice and there’s tons more in the collection that’d be perfect for my spring / summer wardrobe. Especially cami tops for layering and cute cardies and blazers and some gorg maxi dresses i’ve got my eye on too :)

    Spring/summer is my favourtie season, I find it so much easier to pull together a relaxed yet stylish outfit. Dresses are perfect for this and this one’s gorgeous! I love dresses that can be dressed up and down for so many occasions.
