Outfit

It’s Virgos Touch

March 9, 2012

. Virgos Lounge Carey In Ivory* . Zara Mint Jeans . Deina Black Suede Boots .
Ages ago I wrote about a brand that i’d totally fallen head over heels in love with, Virgos Lounge. I’d never heard of them before but after seeing some of their Carnival Collection in a magazine I could not get enough. Every single item in their range is extra special, with beautiful detail and a stunning energetic style. I’ve been lasting after basically every item in the collection since I came across the brand and featured it here. Now, finally, I can boast about being the proud owner of one of their amazing designs.
This Ivory Carey blouse is beautiful, it has so much detail on the collar and cuff that it completely owns the outfit. I wore it yesterday with my pastel skinny jeans (I actually wore the pink ones throughout the day and swapped to my mint ones in the evening to mix it up), and it completely revolutionized my outfit. The detail is so pretty and really makes this simple ivory tunic. Because of the amazing array of colours in the collar and sleeve you can basically pair it with tons of colours as it has a little bit of everything in it. If i’m honest, it definitely went best with the pink jeans (damn it). It’s also a top that generates LOTS of compliments. As you may have seen on twitter I went to the Sugarhill Boutique press event yesterday lunch time which was a lovely little event with some amazing designs on show (more to come on that separately). Anyway, all the lovely bloggers I met also loved this top so it went down really well :)
This is just 1 of a million things I love from the Virgos Lounge collection, but I do also have another little treat to feature in an outfit post soon. Here’s a sneak peak of the other addition to my wardrobe*. Amazing yes?
Last night I also turned chef and worked up a gastronomic delight: Apple and Blackcurrent crumble. mmm. This was post my dad making home made peking duck. Lovely cooking fest. Here’s a little look at my masterpiece. I didn’t follow a recipe and no kidding, this crumble was frickin’ awesome.
What do you think of this gorg top? Have you ever brought anything from Virgos Lounge, I’m obsessed :)

It’s so beautifully ornate! Kind of reminds me of something Christmassy, but that wouldn’t stop me from wearing it all year round. Jealous of your crumble, all I have is chocolate digestives, and they’re not quite the same…xx
