Strawberry Fields

You may have seen my little tweets on this, or even my sneak peak in this post but this week I decided to indulge in a little retail therapy to celebrate getting out of my overdraft (it’s taken me 3 horrific years to achieve this haha). Also, I fully appreciate spending to celebrate saving makes no sense. Nonetheless, I picked up a couple of SS12 essentials.

I’ve been loving all of the (nearly) spring outfit posts that have been flittering around on the bloggersphere these last few weeks, and post getting my nails done on Tuesday a budding shade of coral,  I decided I would play ignorant to the weather and start getting my summer wardrobe in shape.
I am a huge fan of coloured jeans and I now have a rather sizeable collection of varying shades, when I started seeing strawberry pink come on sale it was an absolute no brainer – I was getting myself some of those bad boys. I found these in Zara for a mere £25 … yes that’s right. Bargain I hear you cry. I also, whilst queing to pay, came across this seriously cute collared tunic. Which I proceeded to impulsively buy also (It was the collar, it kept winking at me). So these are my 2 little treats this week, although I must say I’ve also had a seriously exciting delivery but you’ll have to wait for the weekend for me to reveal the excitingness of it’s contents.

Today is big presentation day (think of me at 11am) so i’m really looking forward to getting that one out the way .. and then dealing with the next bundle of projects waiting on some attention. But what I’m mostly looking forward to today is hopefully (permitting I get out my meeting on time) going to the Sugrahill Boutique press day on Oxford Street. I absolutely love their collection (you can see some of my styled items here and here) and so am super chuffed to have been invited :)

I also naughtily ordered these shoes last night, they’re my black ones as featured above but in tan leather (faux). I’m usually a quality shoe only kind of girl, most my shoes are KG, Carvella, Aldo et al, but I love these Deina boots. They’re so comfy and for £40 you can’t go wrong.

    That top is so pretty and I love the colour of the jeans! Well done on getting out of your overdraft, I managed to do it a few months ago and it was the best feeling :) Like a such a massive weight off your shoulders!

    I love the jeans! Such a beautiful colour. However, it’s that beaded collar that has me wanting to flex my debit card…not that I can afford to buy anything as a self-funded postgraduate student! Gorgeous outfit :)
