So here it is, the much talked about February Carmine beauty box. I must say, absolutely my favourite yet. The reason I picked Carmine over the other boxes on the market is due to the fact it appeared to offer a much better range of beauty products, opposed to just bath care. As i’m someone who’s really not that fussed about testing new skin products, I wanted a box that gave you more make up / nail polish / fragrance / hair samples, and so far Carmines delivered right on brief.

I was so happy with the selection of products to try out this month, I love the Andrea Fulerton nail polish, I received the shade ‘Naomi’ which is really up my street. It’s a very rich red, verging on burgundy in real life which I love. The product is a full size version too which is fab. The Steam Cream moisturiser is so cute and I adore the packaging, on first sniff it smelt like E45 so I think it’s going to be a very intensive moisturiser which i’ll probably keep for my hands. Again this was full size, as was the Balance Me body moisturiser (very strong herbal smelling gel formula). The box also included a lovely new Diego Dalla Palma lipstick tester, i’ve heard and seen quite a lot about this lippy around at the moment so am glad to have got a tester to try it out. I got shade 32 (E Il Rossetto) which is a pink tinted rouge colour which i’m quite excited to wear. It may be the shade to finally ease me into reds :) Another product tester that came with this months box was the ‘White Glo‘ whitening toothpaste. Now I love a good tooth whitener so I’m really looking forward to using this, I will definitely continue to buy if I can see a difference (i’ll keep you all posted). This months box also came with a 6th Brucey Bonus sample which is the Yardley Perfume (eau de toilette). On first smell it actually smelt a bit like aniseed with a sweet twist. It’s quite a nice evening smell, good for post work drinks … this’ll definitely be a handy one to slip in my purse ready for emergencies.
