Edging There & £25 Voucher Giveaway

A little change in direction to my usual style here, but after I saw this aztec print midi dress I literally got lost in day dreams about how amazing this would look teamed with my leather jacket and Zara studded boots. Dream boat. Given I won £100 with Style Compare thanks to my winning ‘pleats’ outfit, this was definitely on my prize money wish list.

Unfortunately these photos aren’t all that flattering & after wearing the dress all day to work last week, I should have taken the photos from how I styled it then, not from here when I first tried it on (I forgot to bloody take the tag out too, and only realised half way through the day) ha. So when I wore it last week I styled it with my leather jacket and black suede H&M sandals. I think the biggest difference was that I also swapped the black belt here, for my leather tan belt – which looked so much nicer and weirdly cut the dress in a much nicer shape. But damn it, I took the pics before I adjusted the look. Never mind – you get the picture.

So despite not really liking these photos (they don’t really show how great the dress actually is), i absolutely love this outfit and am so glad I decided to pick this dress. I’m going to be living in this as the weather remains a little uncertain as its summery enough without leaving you with the risk of freezing your butt off. I’m definitely going to be wearing this with my new Zara boots too (as soon as my battered feet have recovered).
