WHEN IN BRUGES

. AN OUTFIT POST FROM BRUGE .

If you follow me on any of my social channels (if not, you should immediately) then you’ll probably know i’ve spent the weekend in Bruges with Jase, escaping the city for a little weekend away. The trip was a surprise present from me to Jase for Christmas and we’ve both been looking forward to it since he found out we were going! Despite the fact I was a little preoccupied some of the time worrying about my new blog going live and trying to finalise some things for the transfer, overall we had a lovely time. It’s such a quiet and calm city that it actually was quite a welcomed slow down to the pace of life we’re accustomed to hear in London! Naturally the weekend was filled chocolate, waffles and lots of belgium beer!

Yesterday was our last day, and despite a little drizzle we headed out to explore and Jase took some outfit shots for me! Bruges is full of beautiful streets and stunning backdrops so it was a tough choice as to where to take some pictures. This little spot was right next to the canal and just a short stroll from Burg, we stopped here as the rain eased and did a quick little shoot! I was rather happy with the results despite my rained on hair & all together ‘basic’ look!  I’ve actually got a couple more looks to share from our three days away, mostly winter warmer style looks, but I did wear a few newbie purchases on the first couple of days when the sun was out and we were graced with no rain, so stay tuned for those!

Aside from outfit pictures, i’ve also been working hard to try and get my new blog looking fine and dandy! There’s a few content tweaks that I need to make (manually editing 1,300 is no fun, I assure you) but other than that, I am really liking seeing a slightly more fancy & sleek looking blog. All the amends that have been made are things I’ve wanted to do for ages, so i’m really chuffed to have finally managed to do them. Despite the slightly stressful experience entailed moving across from blogger! I’d love to hear your thoughts on my new blog, i’m really hoping you like it!
