Outfit

THE GARDENS

January 26, 2015

Jeans and shirt

. REISS ORCHID JACKET & WHISTLES RIPPED JEANS .

This Christmas my mum and Paps surprised Jase and I with a joint gift, an annual pass into the wonderful Kew Gardens which is practically our back garden! I love the gardens and have been many many times over the years, whether that be for the annual Jazz festival or simply for a family stroll and picnic. But having my own pass means I can go and visit as often as I want, even if that’s only for a little stroll & a quick spot of outfit pictures. So for the first time this year, I actually popped along to the gardens as the sun was about to set and had a little wonder and shot these outfit pictures of a few of my favourite garments!

Reiss Orchid Jacket

Phillip Lim PashliWhistles Jeans

. REISS ORCHID JACKET . WHISTLES RIPPED JEANS . TOPSHOP WHITE SHIRT . PHILLIP LIM PASHLI . ASOS NUDE PUMPS .

You’ll remember this Reiss jacket from a couple of posts earlier this year, a little purchase I made as soon as the sales started and a jacket I’ve wanted since it first hit stores in late summer! Despite longing for this jacket for a seriously long time, i actually haven’t got all that much wear out of it since buying it, largely due to the fact it’s beyond freezing and this jacket is a little more warm weather friendly. But i’ve been desperate to wear it, and so decided to embrace the cold and sport the jacket regardless! I teamed the jacket with my Whistles ripped knee jeans (a favourite pair of mine, I think i’ll have to invest in another pair this year to add to the collection), my Topshop floaty white shirt and my nude asos pumps which I haven’t worn in a while either!

The look worked well and is definitely something i’ll be sporting to work in the coming weeks too, it has that office chic feel about it don’t you think? Needless to say I was absolutely numb with cold, but pain is beauty n’ all that!

Have you visited Kew Gardens? What do you think of this little ensemble, how would you style this look for this winter weather?

I went to Kew this Christmas, it would have been nice with more lights but it’s a great place for garden enthusiasts – must take my mum! Love the baby blue, it’s a fresher winter look which I really like at the mo
