A TROUSER NUMBER

. AUTUMN FUR & SUMMER STRIPES .

Another look for you, and yet another example of me blending my summer favourites into my Autumn wardrobe. The trick is of course layering. Keeping your summer favourites in the mix but layering with winter pieces to keep the chills at bay. This crop top is a Tosphop number which I lived in most of summer teaming it with mini’s and boyfriend shorts, for winter i’m swapping the leg bearing combos for cigarette trousers & cosy fur layers.

I sported this look at the weekend (in fact it’s the look I was trying to shoot when I reversed my car into a pole and ranted about on twitter … the lengths that we go to to run a blog eh). I teamed my French Connection trousers with this little topshop breton crop top, threw on my Zara fur coat for extra warmth and popped on my pumps to give it a little razzle dazzle. I liked the more laid back styling of these trousers as often I find myself styling them with fitted tee’s or chic blouses for a more evening look, but this look was perfect for a little weekend lunch date!
