I’ve been totally impressed with the amount of smart/casual dresses available on the high street recently and thought I’d share some of my favourites.
Zara have a great range of dresses which not only are perfect for work teamed with a blazer and THE black wedges (click here) … but top up the big eyeliner, put on some lashes, pump up your hair and add some red lippy and you’ve got a glam post work party dress. VERY handy in the world of media.
I personally am loving this metallic gold dress (Zara £119)… it’s next on my hit list. Appreciate it’s slightly glam for work, but still … why the hell not!!
I also love this body con dress from Topshop (£46), it comes in 3 colours and I am a big fan of the burgundy colour. I see it as a wardrobe staple, a little like the LBD, if you don’t already have yourself one, then I recommend you try this … fits like a wonder (AND you can eat any amount of canapes and it somehow covers it all up). I would spice the outfit up with some killer heels, big dangly gold earing’s and some super smokey eyes.
To be honest … any excuse to shop ;)
