. BRETON DRESS .
The weeks so far this year are speeding by far too quickly, I find myself dreaming of the weekend by 10am Monday morning, and before I know it a busy week has zoomed by and it’s the next weekend already. This is great in many way, but sometimes I just want to slow down time a little, readjust myself to a slower pace of like, spend a little time doing nothing (oh, how I wish) and just having a more relaxed way of being. Last weekend Jase and I made sure not to fill our time too much, but even still I find myself running around, getting my blog sorted for the week ahead, stocking up on food, squeezing in some time with friends and family. Time just goes too fast to squeeze it all in! Whilst that isn’t going to change anytime soon I doubt, I am making a concerted effort to try and spend my weekends relaxing, pottering around & not overfilling my diary too much … and this weekend I hope, will be just that.

You may have noticed this little spot has fast become a favourite for me to shoot my blog photos, I love the backdrop, it captures light and I get to overlook the beautiful gardens that sit beyond the cast iron gates. The best thing about this little spot is that for Christmas my mum bought me an annual season pass to the gardens, it’s the most tranquil place to be, and knowing that this is on my doorstep, and that I can easily spend an hour or two strolling the grounds , losing myself & clearing my mind puts a little smile on my face. Even more so when the sun is shining like it was this weekend!
Jase and I are planning to pop along for a little walk this saturday, kicking off our valentines day with a romantic stroll. The only thing missing is a little puppy … one day i’ll win that ongoing debate. I don’t know the plans for the rest of the day, aside from a little brunch planned at Electric House, Jase is conjuring up something for the evening, and i’m quite excited to see what we’ll be doing! Regardless of what activities we get up to, I know i’ll be keeping my style low key, off duty, and somewhat effortless. This breton dress is one of my go to items when i’m looking to simply throw on something, but still want to look a little respectable, it looks great with a simple pair of pointed booties, and I always rely on my outerwear to ‘make’ my looks at this time of year, and of course this Missguided duster coat ticks all the boxes.
What plans have you got this valentines weekend?

Love the camel coat – I’m thinking of buying it myself but wanted to check how it is in terms of height, I’m 5ft4 would it be quite long?
