. CIRCUS STRIPED TROUSERS .
I’ve always been secretly intrigued with the 70’s well, I say the 70’s but what I really mean is cropped leg trousers, a 70’s classic with a subtle twist for modern day … these print striped trousers were one of my first purchases of this new 70’s revival, i came across on the new King Roads and just felt instantly drawn to their free spirit vibe.
. ZARA STRIPED CROPPED LEG TROUSERS (SIMILAR) . WHISTLES TEE . VINTAGE HAT (SIMILAR) . & OTHER STORIES BAG . BIRKENSTOCKS .
Needless to say styling the trousers was a learning curve, because I mean, since when has wearing striped trousers like this been cool. But actually the simplicity of a quality light tee and my ever faithful birkenstocks was actually all it needed for this late summer heat and holiday occasion.
I’ve always been intrigued by the 70’s as I said, probably in a negative way, not quite loving those hipster style icons or trends, but dare I say it, I seem to embracing the resurgence quite openly this season … from my suede obsession, my cropped leg trousers & now this on point 70’s colour palette & printed design. Maybe i am a secret 70’s fan after all (I’m going to blame Chloe)?
What do you think of this look and my take on the striped AND cropped trouser leg trend? Are you embracing the 70’s?

Oh wow, those trousers are actually divine! You work them so well, they can be styled so simply whilst being such a statement piece. Your backdrop definitely helps sell them too!
