WINTER WORK WEAR

. MY WINTER WORK STYLE IS COMFORTABLE, COSY & USUALLY OVERSIZED .

Today is my last day in NYC before we fly home to the UK, ready to go back to work before the Christmas break truly begins. Work at this time of year, for once, is actually a lot more calm than the rest of the year, as we tie up business ready for the National holiday period projects, deadlines and demands start to ease off a little, and work Christmas parties, client lunches & media events become a little more frequent. This time of year is full of food, dink and merriment, and so my style always adapts accordingly. Loose fitting, oversized, super warm and cosy, but still chic enough to carry me from day to night if the festivities take me there.

This outfit is a classic winter work look for me, an oversized wool knit jumper dress from Cos (i’m building up quite the collection of these), teamed with my boxy tweed coat from Zara, a pair of knee high boots to give it a little va va Voom (these are a suede and leather pair from French connection), finished off always with a little designer leather, my Celine Nano.

For me the key to styling myself for this time of year, for work, is really about classic colours, comfortable and warm textures and oversized tailoring so theres room for all the festive food & drink! This look delivers on all of those things for me!
