Day To Night Party Wear x The White Company

Prior to jetting off to Thailand for some exploration and winter sunshine, I was certainly getting in the mood for Christmas (i’m an obsessive) and the festive party season. Preparing my wardrobe for the season takes a little prep & so when The White Company challenged me to pull together the perfect day to night look, I was well on board. When it comes to my personal style it tends to be slightly preppy with a touch of boho for good measure. I always admire the minimalist style of the scandi’s and the sophisticated and innately understated vibe of the Parisians, but no matter how hard I try for me my style always falls back to a classic, slightly West London preppy!

For me this White Company party look is the perfect representation of my personal style, a classic, a line cut leather skirt (a staple in any wardrobe), teamed with a slightly oversized sweater (with a touch of shimmer for the party season) and finished off with a classic fur gilet & a suede boot.

When I’m dressing for the party season I’m more often than not looking for looks that I can easily transition from day to night with just simple updates or finishing touches and this look delivers just that, the heels & slightly smokier make up transition this from a chic office look, to post work Christmas drinks ensemble seamlessly. And in my opinion its staple pieces that offer a little versatility that make the best investment pieces.

I always recommend investing in quality statement pieces for the party season (less really is more). Those pieces that transition from day to night,  season to season and form your wardrobe staples, statement pieces that fit well, can be styled up or down, and pieces that make you feel fabulous when worn. Really all you need then is a red lip, a killer heel & a designer accessory and you’re party ready!
