. MARRAKECH .
Today we travel home after a week in Morocco and I thought to finish the trip off i’d share a few more snaps from Marrakech. On Friday we headed back into the Media and main centre of Marrakech for a final exploration and this time saw a slightly different side of the city. Outside the souks there is a more westernised style of living in the ‘new town’ and a slightly less poverty stricken version of what feels like ‘local Marrakech’ by the Grand Palace south of the Souks. It’s far more tranquil here and less overwhelming than the extreme hustle and bustle in the Souks / Markets. The above pics are a few snaps I took from the day … it shows a slightly different side to the Morrocco story versus this post.

Marrakesh seems so oriental and I love the fact that there are so many colours everywhere. I have never been there although I have visited other countries in the north of Africa like Egypt and Tunisia. A trip is always the mood-booster you need though :)
