BONDI BLONDIE

August 4, 2013

. AUSSIE STYLE .

Given the ever changing UK climate, this juxtaposing shopping spree seems quite appropriate, mixing summer and winter purchases with an overall Aussie theme. Embracing my true inner Bondi, here are a couple of new items i’ve added to my wardrobe, inspired by the one an only Aussie culture.
I am a huge fan of Ugg boots, in fact I actually have a rather silly collection already (tall and medium chestnut and medium chocolate), but whilst shopping in NYC last November I came across the mini Ugg’s and instantly felt that this was the pair my collection was missing. I really liked the cute little look of them, and actually decided these would make for a really good every day pair of Ugg’s and were a style i’d get a lot of where out of. PLUS … with all the wear and tear even my newest pair (the medium ones) are facing  (I managed to pick them up on my previous trip to NYC in March 2011) I decided it was a legit enough reason to treat myself to another addition to the Ugg family.
At the time back in NYC I resisted the splurge, but fortunately enough UGG have put my waiting to an end by gifting me these gorgeous little booties. I can’t wait to wear them and think they’d look really good with my new James Jeans this Autumn.
The second addition to my Aussie themed wardrobe is this amazing neon bikini from Bondi Bather – an Aussie based bikini / swimwear brand. I was lucky enough to get to pick a new bikini to try out from their range and this neon style were a favourite of mine. I love neon tones when you have a tan, and the silver themed bandeau set was something i’ve not really worn before on the beach.
We all know the Aussies do beach wear to perfection so i was really excited to try a proper Australian designed and produced bikini set. As expected the quality is extremely high and the bandeau bra is a proper fitting bikini top with structured wiring for support. The bottoms are a serious booty shower offer … i think i may need to tone up before wearing these bad boys … a little surfing should help that one!
. Bondi Bather Acid Drop $75 c/o . UGG Woman’s classic Mini £130 c/o .
What do you think of my new Aussie themed items? Are you a fan of Uggs? Have you tried Bondi Bathers? Where do you shop for bikinis?

I absolutely adore Uggs! I literally wear them all Autumn and Winter, they’re just so comfy and look great with everything, especially the chestnut ones! I want to get a pair of the Ugg Classic Mini Boots but in the chocolate shade :)
