. TWO TONE MAXI SKIRT .
Ahhhh I love the sunshine. I’m super happy now we’re having some more sunshine filled days, it really perks me up and means I finally get to wear my summer wardrobe. I love summer clothes, far more than winter clothes. There’s something relaxed, and elegant about summer clothes and when it’s warm you have absolutely free reign on what to wear, and nothing has to be covered up by dowdy coats and scarves. Todays outfit post is a staple summer outfit, featuring my brand new maxi skirt from Zalando.
The skirt is a French Connection number, I absolutely love their SS13 collection and this maxi skirt is another one of my recent purchases (alongside the dress I featured here). I’ve been eyeing it up for ages but it was sold out on the French Connection website, luckily though Zalando had the skirt AND it was reduced from £85 to £70 on their site. That’s the best thing about Zalando, because it’s an international brand stocking TONS of other international fashion brands clothing they have absolutely everything in stock.

I styled my new skirt with a simple black vest and green H&M suede sandals. I wore this outfit at the weekend whilst shopping in Clifton Village, Jase and I went to the village for lunch and also so I could buy my new mirror for my bedroom. I’ll be featuring the mirror on my blog soon as part of a room renovation post i’m doing (exciting).

Aww that skirt is so lovely. I completely agree, I love summer clothes so much more than winter clothes! When it’s cold I find myself putting less and less effort into what I’m wearing and just throwing on big jumpers and jeans. In the summer it’s so different!
