. MOTIQ .
As I always say when I write a beauty post ‘I don’t often write about beauty products, UNLESS they’re I have something I really want to share’. Now today is one of those days. It’s a product i’ve been using for the last month, and one that i’m really enjoying and seeing positive results from. Now it is an anti ageing style cream by MitoQ, which I appreciate many of you will think is a little silly given i’m 25, however I do actually have a very very very wrinkly forehead because my face is so expressive (my mum did warn me). So this product is something i’ve been using to help reduce my forehead wrinkles.
There’s no before and after pictures of me for this post, as lets be honest these products are for ongoing usage and aren’t going to completely transform your looks in a month. However, what I have found is significant signs of improvement in my skin – for example, my forehead is no longer dry like it used to be, the skin is soft and bouncy (it feels really healthy), it’s also in my opinion reduced the deepness of the lines on my forehead noticeably (no longer crevasses, more just slight wrinkle lines), which is a real saviour. I’m looking forward to how things go over the next month to, as I plan to keep this as part of my daily routine – as you should really.
. MitoQ Antioxidant Rejuvenation £115* .
The lotion itself is very light, odourless and actually very quickly absorbed into the skin. It’s a nice yellow colour – reminding me of the classic Clinique moisturiser and applies very easily over the skin. It’s not thick or gloopy and spreads quite far. I actually find it quite cooling and calming too, as it’s so light and delicate. I’ve been using the product at bed time as a final step in my (very inconsistent) skin care routine – I tend to (when I’m not already half asleep) use my dermilogica microfoliant to wash my face, followed by my overnight clearing gel (again, Dermilogica) to help my breakout prone areas … and finally i’ve been adding MitoQ as the final step before slumber time. I’m really enjoying this moisturiser, and am pleased with the results so it’s definitely an anti-aging product i’d recommend if you’re looking to invest.
And an investment is what this product is … as I find with all extremely effective, high quality products it does come with a price tag that reflects its efficacy potential. I’d place this moisturiser in the Creme De La Mere price range, as at £115 it does require some penny saving. Whilst I was lucky enough to get a chance to sample this product this time round, I personally prefer to invest in quality skin care products and makeup anyway – as I really do find they work better for my skin and are more effective e.g. I use Dermilogica, Clinique, Chanel, Bobbi Brown etc (which luckily I can afford to fund as I work full time), but would suggest investing in this product only if you’re looking for an effective anti-aging cream :)
Have you tried any MitoQ products? Are there any anti-aging or moisturising creams you’ve tried and would recommend?

I am the same as you, wrinkly forehead due to being very expressive in my face..slightly inconvenient! Not sure I could ever justify £115 on one product though!

Thanks for sharing lovely, I too have a wrinkly forehead as I’m really expressive when I speak, I’ve got the smile lines quite deep too but I guess this is a good thing :) Definitely intrigued by this product, I’m usually quite sceptical about anti-aging products but I love trying new products!
