Easy As One. Two. Three

Todays outfit posts features a few of my favourite new buys this year to date (coincidentally all from Topshop), combined to make a great weekend look. And a look that I’ve been living in recently. Introducing my cream leather jacket, denim penny dress and (probably my all time fave) my tan sandals.

I’ve featured these items individually on my blog quite a lot already, i’m wearing them all loads which is great as I’m really getting my moneys worth out of them all. The jacket was a birthday present from my mum, and the dress and shoes were my birthday presents to myself. Since back in April when I got these items i’ve probably fallen more in love and found tons of ways to wear them.

This outfit is actually one I wore around the time of my birthday when I was being taken out for a special birthday meal by Jase’s family. We went to one of my favourite gastro pubs near bath and I thought this outfit made a great casual dinner look (perfect for spring). I’ve already mentioned this a few times when posting about this dress, i originally worried it was going to be far too short on me (it looks crazy short online) but actually I think the length is totally fine and not at all inappropriate (i’ve even worn it to work). 

The shoes are just the most perfect pair for me, high enough to look like your making an effort and to give your legs some length, but low enough to be able to walk / run for the tube. They go with everything, and i really have been wearing them with everything too. My cream jacket is my final little obsession, after downsizing this (because my original one was huge) i’ve got loads of wear out of it, and find that it’s a unique twist on the standard black leather jacket. It looks great with a maxi dress or skinny jeans.
