All In The (ACID) Wash


I’ve been saving todays outfit post up for a little while, mainly because it’s a real favourite of mine and I wanted to keep it in the bag (illogical I know). But I thought it’d be a good way to start the week, and to be honest I’ve worn it (and will be wearing it) so much that It’s sure to be shown on my blog again soon anyway …

I treated myself to this dress (and the shoes in fact) just after my birthday, a birthday present to myself if you like. Since buying both items i’ve worn them literally non stop and quite literally love them both. I debated for a long time about this Motel dress, as on the website it looked Super super short on the model, but after trying it on in Topshop I was totally swayed and bought it immediately (I basically ran to the till).

I’ve worn the dress loads already, dressed up for a cocktail party in Nice and down for a casual weekend in Bath, but also dressed fairly smartly here for a dinner out and also styled for work too. Basically I’m finding every excuse to wear this dress at any occasion and so far it’s going pretty well :D The shoes are another favourite from Topshop, the perfect summer sandal if you ask me. I love the fact they’re slightly heeled (although they look really high due to the platform too), and the tan leather is really chic and subtle.
So all in all this outfit is fast becoming a real favourite of mine, two of my favourite items styled together. Now I just need the sunshine to come back so I can wear this day in and out.
