. BIRTHDAY GIFTS .

I’m away on a company ‘conference’ in Nice right now, 3 days of fun filled activities exploring Nice, a black tie ball and a hotel on the beach. I must say I am rather excited, and it’s come at a pretty good time  given it’s just been my birthday. I’m only away for a couple of days but I thought it may be a perfect time to do a little post on some of my birthday pressies I got this year …
I did very well and my friends and family all got me some lovely presents, they’re not all featured in the above piccies, but these are the ones I opened when I went back home at the weekend. From my family I got an amazing cream leather jacket from Topshop and a cute Tosphop nude maxi dress, I also got some cute socks and knickers, a penguine notepad and the piece de resistance a home made knitted cushion which my sister designed and made for me – she’s so talented.
Jase bought me one of my favourite perfumes, Chloe, and also tickets to Bath Spa for the two of us which was so nice as we’re always saying how much we’d like to go. To finish it off he bought me a huge bag of my fave pic n mix and a big hotel chocolate selection. My nan bought me this gorgeous pink glass bowl from a boutique shop called Hambledons in Winchester. I absolutely love it and can’t wait to get it in my own house :)
My friends also got me some amazing, really thoughtful presents, including lots of naughty treats like home made rocky roads and a hamper set including tasty salted caramel fudge, a mug & special teabags and a highly recommended book (Gone Girl), perfect for a girly pamper evening. I got a super special Michael Kors key chain for my new car keys from my friends too. Kat got me an amazing mug she designed with my blog logo and filled to the brim with my fave chocs – jazzles (such a genius gift i have to say).
I also got some gorgeous pressies from my dad’s girlfriend, special ‘London Underground’ mugs for my new home (when I finally get it), some super cool pink salt and pepper shakers and a pretty cake tin. I’m fully kitted out now ready for the big move. My dad took me for a lovely dinner and got me some super ‘techie’ kit for skiing (I am a big skiier) – as we do a lot of off piste and exploring he got me the full avalanche GPS tracking kit and a red shovel :) I also got some money from my Nana and so have managed to get myself a couple of little treats already, including an absolutely bargain dress and bikini from Primark and a cute ping heart shape hanging candle. Both of which I’ll be showcasing on here soon.
I’ve also been using my birthday as a fab excuse to go shopping and so will make sure I show some of my new items with you all soon … in the mean time here’s a sneak peak at the dress & shoes I’ve bought myself ;)
What do you think of all my birthday treats? Which is your favourite item?
