This weekend has been jam packed full of Birthday celebrations (no complaints here), and Saturday was the day I hosted my garden party (mass BBQ) for all my friends. I was so nervous the weather might have let me down, but I had no reason to fear as Saturday was glorious and the perfect weather for it. Below is my outfit for the day …
First things first, that’s not my house, we wish. This outfit is also what I wore to Lainston House for afternoon tea a little while ago, and I managed to get the snaps of my outfit there and wore the exact same thing saturday as I loved it so much. It’s such a simple outfit, but the dress is so pretty it just totally makes it.

I actually can’t believe how much of a bargain this dress is, £29.99 from H&M. I mean seriously, I think it’s amazing and for £30 it was a no brainer, I was definitely having it. The fit is cut to perfection, and I love the print on it. It’s actually the same print as my H&M printed trousers which I blogged about here. I’ve really fallen for H&M this spring as their collection is just amazing, I seem to want (and be buying) everything I see from there).

As the dress is such a statement piece, I opted for block black accessories – my new fedora, trusty leather jacket and my mango pumps (from the Gala Gonzalez collection). I really love the outfit and it made the perfect look for my birthday garden party (more to come on that in another post soon).
