It’s Saturday, the first official day of the weekend, and more importantly the day before I go on holiday for a week of pure sunshine, relaxation and beach lounging (yay). I’m back home today and have spent the day in town shopping for last minute holiday bits … clearly I ended up buying nothing for holiday though.
This is what I’m wearing today, nothing super special, just a cosy jeans and tshirt outfit with my Mango pumps and Brit-Stitch satchel. This is my sort of go to super casual ‘throw on’ outfit when I’m shopping at the weekend. Comfy and easy and no fuss.

I had a manicure this week in preparation for my holiday at my favourite affordable salon in Neils Yard Covent Garden. The colour is Essie, Lollipop and I love it. I have it on my toes too :)

So as I eluded to, I managed to not buy a single holiday thing in town, despite actually being on the hunt for a bikini and maybe some pretty dresses. I was disappointed with all the bikinis I found on the high street so that was a major fail, particularly Topshop (seriously what body shape do they actually design their bikini’s on). I did find 2 gorgeous dresses in Topshop though which I’d seen online and absolutely loved on, but I resisted purely because my wardrobe is bursting with dresses at the moment and I took a sensible stance and decided to leave it. So the holiday shop was ditched rather quickly, and I ended up buying some gorgeous bits from H&M. As soon as I saw these printed trousers I loved them, after trying them on I loved them even more, and at £9.99 (AS IF) it was a total no brainer. I also found this amazing gold chain necklace which I love, I’m a real fan of chunky gold detailed necklaces and so this was a real find (also £9.99).
I’m heading back to London soon for packing, dinner and general holiday celebrations!
