Outfit

JUMP, For My Love

March 15, 2013

Well It seems that I have found a new favourite outfit again, this time in the form of this super cute pinafore playsuit. Every season an item of clothing comes out that you become quite fixated on, and this season, for me, it’s the pinafore. I’ve been wanting one for ages, and been admiring many an outfit with people sporting the look and finally got this last week and have fallen in love.
I got this super cute pinafore from Daisy Street and was so chuffed with it. It fits perfectly and will definitely be coming on holiday with me next week. I’m thinking of swapping the long sleeve top for a cropped beachy style one, giving the look a more boho holiday feel.
This pinafore is actually super similar (extremely) to a Topshop number I was eyeing up for ages, but I cannot believe the price difference (£45 vs £20). If you’re looking to get one of these i’d fully recommend this one as it’s an absolute find.
. Daisy Street Pinafore Playsuit  £20 c/o . Zara Leopard Ankle Boots . Accessorize Necklace .
. Brit-Stitch Half Pint Satchel In Poppy Red £70 c/o .
I really love navy and red together and so I channeled my Chanel Velvet alure lippy & my new Brit-Stitch red poppy half pint satchel with the pinafore and absolutely love how it looks. It’s kinda preppy, channeling the old school look (pinafore & satchel) but still looks really modern and perfect for a night out or dinner date.
I am so excited for the next week or so, I am off to Egypt on Sunday for a week of pure relaxation and sunbathing with my dear buddy Zoe (cannot wait). It’s my sisters Birthday today so I’m off home tonight and tomorrow to celebrate with her and see my family :). I have nearly managed to schedule a post for every day I am away next week – so hopefully you enjoy them all (I even have a little giveaway tee’d up).
Also – I know with all the crazy GFC debacle going on at the moment lots of people are starting to use bloglovin, so if you want to follow me you can do HERE.
What do you think of this look? Are you a fan of the pinafore look too? I’d love to hear your thoughts on styling this sort of garment?

I absolutely adore all the pinafores on the high street at the moment but some are so unflattering and bloomin expensive! This bad boy seems like a great little find and looks beaut on you.

I purchased that pinafore before I’d even reached the end of your post.. Mainly ’cause I’d been lusting after the Topshop one so when I saw the price of yours I was straight on the website like a mad man. I love the way you’ve styled it, I have a denim one, which is a skirt as opposed to shorts but I love how they go with so much and are easy to style up in different ways! So jealous you’re off to Egypt – bring some sunshine back! xx
