Another spring touched outfit post from my weekend today, we really were blessed with sun at the weekend and I immediately took this as a great excuse to start wearing slightly more summery clothes. When Spring starts to peek it’s head out, it makes me realise how much I just LOVE the sunshine and gets me all excited for summer clothes and warmer climates.
I wore this outfit Sunday and took the opportunity to wear my new Dsquared sunglasses from the Sunglasses Shop – I literally love these shades, they’re the perfect shape and colour. My dream design basically. So as soon as the sun reared it’s head this weekend I literally got these shades out and on within a nano second.
. Zara Jacket & Blouse . Karma Clothing Skirt (c/o) . Mums Belt . Primark Necklace .
. Dsquared Sunglasses (c/o) .
The outfit is a real mixture of old and new items. The skirt is another item from Karma Clothing (I also got this dress too), and it’s great for the old winter spring transition. I styled it with my old silk Zara blouse and new suede and leather Zara jacket. I liked the smart blouse styled down with the casual skirt and jacket. I’ve actually lost my belt, so borrowed my mums leather belt to add a little something to the look. I always find maxi skirts need a little something to break them up.
What do you think of my new skirt? Are you a fan of the maxi look, how would you wear this style of skirt?

I’m not a fan of maxi skirts or dresses usually, but I like it in this look. You’re right, the belt makes all the difference!
