Thank goodness for the weekend, I arrived in Bristol last night and proceeded to fall fast asleep on the sofa, wake up to eat my specially cooked dinner which Jase made me, then proceeded to fall fast asleep again until 11am this morning. As you can tell, I was shattered. Anyway, the weekend is ahead now and for many of you Saturday night might be party night so today’s post is a bit of glitzy night out inspiration.

Over Christmas I received these fab sequin trousers from SheLikes and leather blouse from Mary Jane Fashion – I loved them both and decided that they potentially could work together for a bit of an evening do. Sadly the trousers are too big for me and so don’t look very flattering (and I had to pin them at the back), so i recommend down sizing if you’re looking to buy a pair. The leather blouse is a really cute way to smarten up a simple jeans look, and this instance give the pants a run for their money.

I wanted to share the look anyway, as it’s a good look for a night out, but in the future I’m more likely to wear these separtely. I think the trousers as they’re a bit big would look good with a body underneath so you don’t lose your shape, and as for the peplum, this is the sort of thing I wear all the time with a nice pair of skinny jeans and ankle boots.
Hope you all have a fab weekend lined up, here in Bristol it seems as though spring has broken so I think we’ll be out making the most of this sunshine :)
