Happy Sunday everyone , this weekend is going too quickly for my liking and I wish we could just have one more day. Yesterday Jase and I headed up to Park Street for Brunch in Goldbrick house (my favourite restaurant and cocktail bar in bristol which has an all day breakfast menu too – tick). I am a creature of habbit at the weekend and a Saturday brunch is nearly always on the agenda. We also spent the evening in the Directors Hall Lounge and saw Les Mis – it was an amazing experience and for an extra £5 is definitely worth upgrading. The film itself is just incredible, such a good production and they deserve all the Oscars and Baftas they can get.
Anway, here’s what I wore yesterday …
Mohair is an interesting one really, not something i’ve worn before, nor really ever considered but boy it’s cosy and warm and also looks pretty cool too. This Mohair jumper from Lavish Alice has an adorable print which made me instantly fall for it, it’s sort of tribal esque but i think it neatly blends in with all the baroque embellishment that’s around right now.
Cue my styling of the jumper with my Gala Gonzalez baroque print pumps. I love these bad boys and wear them all the time … even in these crazy cold temperatures. I love the embroidered front and the mirrored heel, Gala did an amazing job with her collection for Mango, definitely up my street.
. Topshop Leather Trousers . Lavish Alice Mohair Jumper (c/o) . Peach Pink Bag £175 (c/o) .
The bag is my newest addition to my collection, and is a brand which is actually new to me. It’s designed by a brand called Peach Pink, which I only got introduced to recently but is actually stocked in Anthropologie (a brand I well and truly love as you may know by now). The brands in their collection are all very sleek, quality and classic and I was fortunate enough to receive one this week – I have a fair few bags (mostly Mulberry, as I’m obsessed) but instantly loved this bowler bag, there’s something very chic and understated about it. They had a gorgeous blue clutch bag too, but I opted for this instead & was so chuffed when it arrived. Not only is the bag made of beautiful leather it also has a neon esque red interior which is just SO cool.
Both my jumper and bag are actually new items to my overloaded wardrobe. I keep looking on pinterest at incredible walk in wardrobes and thinking I need to win the lottery or something. My wardrobe needs its own house right now.
What do you think of my outfit from yesterday? Do you like my new Peach Pink bowler bag & mohair jumper?
