I can’t believe it was over a week ago I was in NYC, it’s absolutely flown by. I also can’t believe tomorrow is my last day in the office and in London before the big Christmas break. This year just seems to have zoomed by at the speed of light … and I feel like it’s been a good year for me. My blog & Promotion at work being two major highlights … not to mention all my travels and exciting things I’ve been getting up to.
. Topshop Leather Trousers . Monki Jumper . Zara Blazer & Gilet . H&M Fur Stole . Zalando Boots .
This is my final outfit post from NYC and thought i’d share it as it’s a good outfit for layers. This tend to be my coping mechanism for cold weather – pile on as many clothes as possible to keep you cosy and warm. My fur gilet makes the perfect outerwear and keeps so much heat locked in. It also means you can wear tons of different jackets underneath to change the look of the sleeves etc, I tend to go for a blazer, a leather jacket or even a knit and it completely makes the look unique.
NYC was pretty nippy, especially at the Top of the Rocks and so this was the perfect cosy outfit – I wore my Monki cream knit jumper with a top underneath, my Zara tweed and leather sleeved blazer followed by my gilet and fur stole. Not forgetting my bear hat – of course. It kept me pretty warm and cosy and made for a great easy outfit. The leather trousers gave it a slightly more edgy vibe, but also keep me warm too which is a bonus.
How do you cope with the cold weather in winter? Are you a layers kind of person, what’s your go to winter warmer?
