Just Bear It.

There’s nothing better when it’s all cold and frosty out than getting snuggled up in a cute cosy nit – not only do they feel effortless and comfy, they look effortless – but in a chic way. I love styling a bit knit jumper with a pair of autumnal coloured trousers or jeans. For this look I styled my outfit with some mega platform heels to add a tad of glamour, but even a pair of Uggs would look fab.

This is my current go to Christmas shopping outfit, the knit (from AX Paris) is so cosy and uber comfy and I seem to have been living in it all winter. I love the fact it has a slight off the shoulder hint to it, and it’s surprisingly really warm (which is key with this nippy weather).
I’ve also rediscovered my Topshop leather trousers in the last couple of months, I picked these up this time last year and wore them tons but sort of forgot about them over the summer – now I’m loving them again and am wearing them so much. They go with everything and make the perfect versatile outfit. I wore them out on saturday night with a simple top and blazer, as you see here I wore them with a cosy knit and fluffy hat for some Christmas shopping, and they make a great evening dinner look too. They’re smart but with a little edge which is great for creating an effortlessly chic look.

We should probably also address my hat – this is my absolutely favourite winter hat. Jase and I call each other bears (don’t ask), and so this hat was a totally perfect present from Jase a few years ago. I wear it every winter, skiing, the weekend, to work. I bloody love this hat.

I’ll no doubt be whipping this outfit on again this weekend as I have more shoppping to do and a few more pressies to buy, and I will certainly be trying to squeeze in a few mulled wines and bratwursts at Winchester market too.
