Given it’s Saturday, the night for partying and getting dolled up, I thought I’d share an outfit I wore out in NYC. It features my new Anthropologie shorts and hat, but styled for an evening look as opposed to a day look (as I featured here).
The shorts were a real bargain so I’m so glad I picked them up and I’ve managed to get quite a lot of wear out of them already which is good. I love how the hat adds a chic touch to every outfit and it was perfect for our evening out.

You’ll have to excuse the photos and lighting – there was no choice but inside with flash as it was pouring with rain this evening. So it’s mixing things up a little.
I’m in Bristol this weekend and saw the XX last night (who were AMAZING), and today we are doing some Christmas shopping and out for some drinks this evening. We had wanted to go to the bullring but sadly I’m so tired I didn’t wake up in time to make the 2 hour drive worthwhile.
I’ve had loads of amazing deliveries this week and some quite nice outfits but sadly no time at all to take photos of them due to a) work, b) rain and c) darkness. Damn this whole winter malarchy. How are you guys coping?
