Now Autumn is officially here, it’s become a little more compulsory to wear practical and warm clothes. My cute summer dresses are now officially squashed at the back of my wardrobe, and my new sensible winter wear is creeping it’s way to the front. However, fear not, because warm wear doesn’t mean we can’t all still look and feel lovely in glam dresses.
This dress is the perfect Autumn party dress, long sleeves keeping you warm, but the simple high neck cut is also super chic in my opinion.
It’s super easy to wear, as the dress does all the work for you, I teamed it with my fur stole for a little 60’s glam and also a lot of cosy warmth, but a pair of big earrings or a chunky gold necklace would work perfectly too.
. AX Paris Body Con Dress (c/o). Marni Heels . H&M Fur Stole .
I actually fell in love with this AX Paris dress because of the long sleeves, it made a potentially uber glam dress a little more classic and also wearable in this weather. I am yet to do this, but I am completely planning on wearing this with a big knit cardigan & my Topshop acton boots. I think the dress is designed for party wear but can be styled for a much more easy weekend wear dress too.
I’m in Bristol this weekend and am planning on spending the weekend chilling out, baking banana bread, drinking Starbucks christmas coffees and watching fireworks & celebrating bonfire weekend. I’m also seeing Ben Howard on Monday night in Bristol so have a super good, long weekend in the pipeline. Although I have a horrible sneaky suspicion that I’m coming down with a winter cold :(
What do you think of this black body con dress? How would you style this and for what occasions? What will you be doing to celebrate bonfire night?

Love how the fur stole totally finishes off your outfit – you look great. I have a fur stole from about 14 years ago – i’m sooo glad I kept it and that they are on trend again.
