Since I started my wee old blog, I’ve been a huge reader of lot’s of other blogs and admired the community as well as all the exciting projects lot’s of bloggers get involved in and get to work on. One of the projects I’ve followed for a while now is the take 10 project, lot’s of my favourite bloggers take part in this monthly style challenge and I’ve always been a big fan of the whole concept. 10 bloggers each get an item (either the same, or from the same collection or the same theme) and each styles them in their individual way. It’s a really great idea & helps show off the amazing versatility of clothes, and gives you lots of inspiration on how to wear things.
So, as i’m sure you can imagine, when I received a little message from the lovely Vicki (The Magpie Girl) about joining the Project Take 10 team … I was actually over the moon (and totally honoured that i’d been considered). I’m so excited about all the upcoming challenges & the prospect of being part of the Take 10 community so this is a super proud moment for me ;)
So for my first style challenge we’re working to a ‘theme’ with one of my all time favourite brands, Sugarhill Boutique. Our theme for this style challenge is poker night and as such we’re all getting to style the Sugarhill Boutique ‘lady luck’ collection. As a big lover of Sugarhill Boutique I’d already had a chance to admire this collection at their press day a little while ago. I love the team at Sugarhill & every collection they bring out is unique, original and completely awesome (always great quality too).

As the newest (and last to pick) member of the team I was allocated this lady luck jumper to style. When It arrived I was completely in awe of how SOFT it was, it’s literally the most cosy & comfortable jumper I’ve ever worn, so snuggly. I also love how the inside is a reddy / pink colour and I think you may even be able to mix it up and wear it inside out.
Anyway, back to the challenge, in keeping with the poker theme & bringing to life my idea of poker night attire I thought i’d go for a dressy styling of this. If I was in Vegas attending a fab night at the casino i’d want to look a little glam & ready for a night on the tiles, so I thought what better way to style the jumper than to team it with my glam AA disco pants & mega high Deina heels. They actually went perfectly with the jumper too, and after adding a pair of glitz earings my look was complete :)
