. COS COTTON STIRRUP TROUSERS .
I don’t know what’s taken me so long, but i’ve only just properly discovered and fallen head over heels in love with Cos. I’ve always known Cos was cool, but for some reason i’ve never popped in for a shop or spent some time browsing online, I don’t know why, but all I know is it was a mistake. Whilst I was out in Copenhagen, being inspired by the Scandi coolness, I went for a little shop and Cos & And Other Stories became top of my shopping list because of their Scandinavian heritage! That was enough to draw me in, and once I was in, well all hell breaked loose.
. COS COTTON STIRRUP JODHPURS £69.99 . TOPSHOP WHITE SHIRT £20 .
. ZARA PATENT PUMPS . CELINE NANO .
I fell in love with tons of items in the Copenhagen store, everything I tried on I wanted! So much so that as soon as I left I promptly hopped straight onto the online site on my phone (whilst on a boat tour around Copenhagen) and ordered all the pieces I’d discovered (they didn’t have my size avail in store, else i’d have bought them straight away)! That’s proof enough of how much I fell in love! I bought a few goodies, one of which was these incredible black jodhpur style trousers. I fell in love with these the moment I spotted them in the store, but suspected they wouldn’t suit me and it would be another androgynous trouser dream shattered, Oh how I was wrong, I put them on and loved the fit, the cut, the style & the shape! It’s not often I find a pair of trousers that suits my hourglass shape, but these were the perfect pair!
They arrived last week in the post & I spent most the weekend prancing round in them! I think they look fab with a crisp white shirt (this one’s a new one from Topshop) & a pair of pumps (I teamed them with my Zara Navy ones)! The look is something i’m forever striving to pull off, kind of an androgynous professional chic, and for once with the help of these fabulous pantaloons, I might have just done it?
Are you a COS fan? What do you think of my new purchase?
