Away With The Fairies

Sometimes when you put an item of clothing on you just feel 10 million dollars, there’s something about the floaty maxi style of this dress that I’ve just absolutely fallen in love with. The moment I put this dress on I just wanted to spin around and wave my hand like a royal ha.

There’s just something about the asymmetrical front, drooping floaty back, the cute wrap around at the front and the swooshy nature of this dress that just makes you feel like royalty. The print and colours are really simple, in my opinion it’s the design which makes this dress so special. But as a matter of fact its a pinky orange pastel type shade with little floral print details, so is actually quite nice in itself.
I immediately grabbed my ridiculously high Boohoo heels to pair with it as they literally just go like a dream. Given that spring is starting to poke it’s head out, I thought it was about time my denim jacket got some daylight too. Overall I really do love this look, I wish I had some posh royal events to wear it to now.
I wanted to also share these cute pics I took the other day when I went out for afternoon tea with my friends and sister with you all. I love all the kitsch accessories that are dotted around the cafe (Lilly’s Cafe – Wickham) and given I love the British tea and cake phenomena (mmmm) I thought I’d feature them today. Tying neatly in with my ‘Royals’ themed post ha.

    This is the dress I’m planning to buy for a cousins wedding late in summer, and I’ve been looking for photos of it where the model is wearing it to see how it looks on, so thank you!! So gorgeous on you, I love the print. Reminds me a little of a dress Mollie King wore to a premiere, but that was much more expensive! :)
