I hope everyone’s first day back to work is going okay, or the studying isn’t wearing you down if you’re in exam period? The title of today’s post works well I feel, my outfit is totally blue and clearly we’re all feeling a  little blue being back to reality after a nice long weekend. Clever eh.

So this outfit is a funny one for me, I bought these shorts a while ago from H&M and I think they were about £20. I’d not worn them since I bought them until this weekend and had planned on them being a summer item. Given the weather clearly didn’t have the same agenda as me, I decided I needed to mix it up and create a winter outfit with them. I bought some new tights this weekend, mine were all horrendously worn and I seem to be living in them right now, I got a 120 denier pair from Topshop for £8 and they are amazing. Super thick and black which is ideal to wear with short shorts in my opinion. I just added this loose silk Zara blouse and my new heels and voila. I actually later in the day added a big jumper and my brogues which also looked cool & made the look a lot more casual.

I’ve been a bit panicked recently about the sheer volume of ‘stuff’ that I own, I am a shopping addict yes, but I’m also a hoarder which is no good at all. Last night when I got back to London I had a TOTAL tidy up of my wardrobe, shelves and drawers and phew I feel so much better. The good news for you guys is I’ve made an executive decision to sell all my items I no longer where, so over the next few weeks I’m going to be adding lots more items to my blog sale page.
